The family wineries of the Madera Wine Trail will host “Spring Wine Trail Adventure” on May 16th and 17th from 10am to 5pm. Wine lovers may purchase a Passport Wine Glass at any of the participating wineries both days of the event. Barrel tastings, and current vintages will be available for tasting and purchase along with special food pairings, local art, and live music. Experience what’s new along the Madera Wine Trail! Birdstone Winery – 9400 Road 36, Madera
Birdstone will host live music both days, including guest favorite Bellarios. Enjoy displays from talented local artists, and sample Olives from La Bella, Award-Winning Cheeses by Fiscalini, and Premuim Olive Oil from Cecchetti family. . Chef Michael Mazzoni and Chef Cathy Barrows will offer a delicious lunch of Tuscan Lasanga, Gourmet Salad & Fresh Bread. Join us Saturday night for a “Release Party on the Grass” benfiting Alegria Guild of Children’s Hospital, where $25 buys dinner & dessert from Wahoo’s Fish Taco & Coldstone Creamery, live music by Hard Times, and samples of the newly released Alegria Reserve by Birdstone Winery wines. Idle Hour Winery and the Queen’s Inn will have live music and local artists displaying their artwork during the Madera Wine Trail’s Spring Wine Trail Adventure. Call the inn at 559.683.4354 to book a ride on the tour bus, Discover Yosemite, for a ride down the Madera Wine Trail. The tours will start and end at the Queens Inn.
Mariposa Wine Company – 20146 Road 21, Madera
Ahoy! Grab your Passport glass and come aboard the SS Mariposa for a nautical adventure across a vast sea of delicious wine! Navigate your way to Mariposa Wine Company, located just west of Highway 99 at Avenue 20. Selected wines from our award-winning portfolio of brands: CRU, Carmichael Vintners and Yosemite View will be available for tasting and we will be offering specials on our Carmichael ‘Grigio e Bianco’ as well as our Yosemite View red wines and Caprice Rose. Landscape Prints by artist Thomas Karle will be displayed on the Main Deck and available for purchase. Go Portside to hear live Jazz music and when you get hungry, make your way to the Galley for food that Carnival would be proud to serve. Bon Voyage!
Quady Winery – 13181 Road 24, Madera
Cruise by Quady Winery May 16th and 17th from 10am - 5pm for the Madera Vintners Association Spring Wine Trail Adventure and enjoy some Muscat ’s with the cats… & dogs. Because the Quady staff loves animals, we invited the Madera Animal Shelter out to show their Dogs, Cats, Kitties and Puppies who are in desperate need of loving homes. The Shelter will have plenty of cuddly critters available for adoption that would love for wine aficionados to take them home.
Step outdoors to our lanai and refresh your palate by sipping on our popular Electra Freezes, The Vya (French Kiss), Essensia and Elysium spritzers and coolers while dancing to live blues & rock. San Joaquin Wine Company – 21801 Avenue 16, Madera
Visit one of the newest wineries on the Madera Wine Trail! Enjoy our "Moody Press" wines paired with fresh fruits and assorted cheeses. San Joaquin Wine Co. , "Moody Press Cellars" will be barrel tasting our 2008 Viognier for this event. Join us for a lunch of gourmet sandwiches and salads, sold both days by the Valley Gold 18U Softball team. Enjoy the family winery experience while listening to the smooth jazz sounds of Rich Severson on Saturday from 1-4 pm. For patrons enjoyment, the Madera Parachute Center skydivers will land at the winery property both afternoons (weather permitting). Be sure to make SJWC "Moody Press Cellars" one of your stops during your spring wine trail experience. We are located in northern Madera, west of Fwy. 99, 1/2 mile west of Road 23 on Avenue 16.
